Killer Image was definitely a page turner. A murder has disrupted Main Line, PA and caught in the middle of it is Allison Campbell, image consultant to celebrities and powerful people. There was a lot of false leads and misdirections, a lot of characters introduced both during the murder investigations and some from Allison's past. But despite that, there was no confusion, only a heightened sense of tension in trying to solve this mystery. Allison was the lynchpin for the whole book, her past intertwines with the present making it important for her to solve the crime and at the same time give back what she lost so long ago. The writing was impeccable, the characters so well developed right down to the secondary characters you get a whole perspective of what's going around. A very nice and refreshing romantic subplot also adds to the books depth. Overall, this was a great debut novel and a first book introduction to a great series.
